ENDWELL (WBNG) — The pandemic decimated the service industry. Now, they are working to recover with the summer wedding season just around the corner.
As capacity restrictions continue to loosen, there’s excitement over a return to normalcy with events like weddings.
The Riverdale Events Manager Lisa Melena said the last 14 months have been frustrating.
“It was extremely difficult for 2020 being limited to only 50 people in a 6000 square-foot facility,” she said.
Tioga Gardens Nursery Manager Casey Kuhlman said their wedding dates have filled up quickly.
“We’ve been booked weekends pretty solid pretty much as soon as things started reopening for outdoor venues,” he said.
