Mr. and Mrs. Jason Thomas Wegener of Katy, Texas announce the engagement of their daughter Abigayle Ruth Wegener to Kendall Holden Clarke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Holden Clarke of Jackson.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lee Allen of Cherryvale, Kan., and the Rev. and Mrs. Edgar Joseph Wegener of Cherokee, Kan.
The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of the Rev. and Mrs. Kenneth Dale Linton of Brookhaven, Gretchen Jahncke Clarke of Madison, and the late Holden Mast Clarke.
Miss Wegener is a graduate of Aristoi Classical Academy in Katy. She is currently pursuing a degree in business management and is the assistant manager at PJ’s Coffee.
Clarke is a 2016 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School and currently pursuing a degree in industrial technology at Mississippi State University. He is a staff sergeant with five years of service in Air National Guard as an avionics technician in the 172nd Airlift Wing and is working in the field of property management.
The couple will exchange wedding vows July 23, in the Chapel of First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, with a reception to follow at The Cedars. Following a wedding trip to Highlands, N.C. the couple will make their home in Jackson.
