Anna Geary And Husband Enjoy Honeymoon Three Years After Wedding

Anna Geary and husband Kevin Sexton have finally set off on their honeymoon — three years after saying their ‘I dos.’

The Ireland’s Fittest Family coach and other half married in October 2019, with their initial plans to travel around America.

Unfortunately, COVID-19 put a pause on their plans in 2020.

The happy couple have made up for lost time and set off to Iceland for ‘a delayed honeymoon’ where they have been taking in all the stunning sights and popular spots the country has to offer.

Taking to Instagram, the former camogie player shared a series of snaps from their holiday, and captioned the post: ‘Iceland snippets.

‘The delayed honeymoon… 3 years in waiting, but worth it!’

Anna asked her followers if they had ever been to Iceland.

She said: ‘Have you been to Iceland? What are your recommendations for places to see, places to eat, and things to do??

The couple have enjoyed everything from snowmobiling to relaxing in the lagoons, as well as taking in the natural beauty, along with some parks and waterfalls.

Friends and followers of the Cork woman took to the comments section to wish the couple a happy holiday.

Fitness influencer Leanne Moore commented: ‘Absolutely amazing! Worth the wait!

‘Enjoy every moment.’

Another added that they were just back from Iceland, they said: ‘Just home from it, in fact got engaged there!!’

A third recommended: ‘Kaffivagninn — Iceland’s oldest restaurant for sure. Dylan bar for drinks.’

It follows the TV personality opening up on living her life in honour of her late father.

Anna lost her beloved father Michael in March of this following a battle with a ‘short, aggressive illness.’

In a recent interview with Star Chic magazine, Anna spoke about adjusting to life without him.

She said: ‘He was always someone that encouraged me to get out there and try new things, to not be afraid to try something new — even if it doesn’t work out, the lesson is in the actual willingness to try it.

‘My dad was a farmer and he had an incredible work ethic. Any farmer will attest to the fact that work has to be done 365 days a year — especially if you have livestock, you have to look after them. Or if you’re not going to be around, you have to make sure that someone is.’
