Cannabis-themed honeymoon in Jamaica, anyone?

Negril-based hotel, Blue Skies Beach Resort, has partnered with GanjaVacations and Cannabis Wedding Expo to treat one lucky couple to a cannabis-themed vacation or honeymoon. 

The campaign, branded the Jamaica Love Bird Giveaway, is offering the selected couple a stay of four days and three nights at the new boutique hotel in Jamaica. 

According to a release, the package includes accommodation, airport transfers and a variety of cannabis experiences that GanjaVacations says “guarantee a fabulous, sybaritic, pleasure-filled experience” ideal for a honeymoon or romantic getaway in the destination island famous for its ganja cultivation. 

The release said the campaign also serves to boost the business of cannabis-themed vacation packages on the island.

GanjaVacations is a vacation portal for curated ganja experiences with a current focus on Jamaica. The portal carries information about ganja-friendly accommodations, dispensaries, tours, wellness facilities, and events, as well as exclusive vacation deals.

Blue Skies Beach Resort is one of the accommodations with which GanjaVacations is partnering. The resort, which was conceived and created by skydiving enthusiasts, allows guests to smoke on the property and also offers guests tours of local Negril herb houses, commercial ganja farms, and sacred ganja farms. Edibles are also available, on request, the release said.

“GanjaVacations is very excited to enter into this collaboration with Cannabis Wedding Expo. We have high hopes for the future of cannabis weddings and foresee substantial growth as more and more weed-loving couples choose to incorporate cannabis into their nuptials,” CEO of GanjaVacations, Norman L Lawrence, said in the joint press release.

The giveaway is open to adults over the age of 21 through midnight on November 17, 2022, and completion of an entry form, accessible at https://www.ganjavacations.net/jamaicagiveaway/, is all that is required to participate. The grand prize winner of the Lovebird Giveaway will be announced on or about December 16, 2022, the release said.

Also, entrants can earn additional chances to win by referring friends or posting on social media, the release added.

In addition to the grand prize, all entrants will be granted a discount of 15 per cent on the purchase of any vacation package on the GanjaVacations website through February 14, 2023.
