Radio presenter turned comedian Ronnie McVex Musiimenta and his wife Patience Mbabazi have an amazing life story. The couple has been together for seven years.

The two are happily married, but they never had time to enjoy their honeymoon after their wedding. They had to cancel their honeymoon due to COVID-19.

Speaking in an interview with Daily Monitor, Musiimenta, said he and his wife took COVID-19 tests as per the travelling rules and the results came out negative.

The happy couple then flew to their honeymoon destination.

But after two days, Musiimenta started experiencing joint pains and a headache, and his wife thought it was fatigue.

“We boarded a plane and flew back to Uganda. Upon landing at Entebbe Airport, we were subjected to mandatory testing since we had travelled back from a high risk country,” he said.

After receiving his results, he was devastated.

“My results came out positive. I partially saw it coming because of how I was feeling. My heart started beating so fast, I started seeing the RIPs I had viewed on other people’s statuses. It was the worst feeling ever.”

Musiimenta was put in isolation under strict care, and a few days later, he recovered, confirming that COVID-19 is real.

“It is painful and it could devour you,” he said.
